Gymnastics events
have been challenged at every Summer Olympic Games subsequent to the conception
of the Gymnastics Summer Olympic Games at the 1896 Summer Olympics in
Athens. For a long time, just men were permitted to contend. Starting at the
1928 Summer Olympics in Amsterdam, women were permitted to contend in
imaginative tumbling events too.
Gymnastics Rhythmic at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, is scheduled to be held in August. The event will be start from Friday 19 August 2016 at Rio Olympic Arena Barra, Brazil. The ending ceremony of this event is scheduled for Sunday Aug 21, 2016.
