No British Football Team will Compete at 2016 Olympics in Rio

England won't be spoken to by any national football team at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro after the English Football Association neglected to pick up backing from individual British countries Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland.

As per the English FA, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland were against a united British group  like that of the irregular league that contended at the 2012 London recreations saying another bound together campaign could put their autonomy inside FIFA at danger.

Without the backing of every one of the four British countries, FIFA VP Jim Boyce said the association would not authorize a incomplete Britain group. The Under-21 European Championship, which runs from June 17-30 in the Czech Republic will serve as UEFA's qualifying methodology to focus the landmass' four 2016 Summer  Olympics delegates.
