Jitu Rai and Apurvi Chandela picks up Olympics quota with World Cup bronze

Jitu Rai and Apurvi Chandela have won Olympic quota place for Rio. The focus was on the five share puts on offer on the day three in men's air rifle and two in women games pistol. The Indian shooters, Abhinav Bindra which included five who had contended in the London Olympics, made the finals to have the capacity to stay in the game for the doubtful Olympic quota.

Bindra needed to battle with a moderate begin and a less than exciting complete in a progression of 102.8, 104.0, 104.6, 105.1, 104.9 and 103.2. It was in fact brilliant shooting as Bindra did not shoot a 9, till he had a 9.9 and 9.8 on the last card. In the prior configuration, he would have a score of 598. But the decimal scoring gauged the intrinsic quality of shooting better in placing the eight finalists, from a field of 100 shooters.

The two different Olympians in the conflict, Sanjeev Rajput and Gagan Narang put 25 and 26 individually. Shooting in the MQS segment, Satyendra Singh thought of the best score of 624.8. Milutin Stefanovic of Serbia won the gold and the Olympic standard spot, as he beat the world No.1, the 19-year-old Yang Haoran of China by 0.7 point. The 30-year-old Stefanovic was guaranteed of his entrance in the Rio Olympics, as Serbia has an display that the shooters who win the quantity spot make it to the Summer Olympic Games.  Bronze medallist Anton Rizov of Bulgaria and the fifth put Alexander Schmirl of Austria were granted the other two Summer Olympic quota place in the event.
